We all love you but we know that God loves you more.  Rest in perfect peace my brother.  You have been a blessing to many and We very much enjoyed our last visit together. Will always remember your first visit and how you waited up till I got back from work and we did justice to the Big Macs. Those days back in Boston and Brockton.  Remember Cookie, the scooter, your white Camaro and that car with the bad shocks, taking the kids to a concert in Rhode Island and your car would not start, (you were always resourceful because you got the girls home safely though you froze yourself at the back of that pickup)working at Christy's. Our first road trip to Richmond, Va through Far Rockaway in NY.  The many good times and jokes we shared, I will miss you little brother. You have and will always be my younger brother.

Lanre you were a family friend and brother to me. From our days at Corona School in Lagos to the 1980s' in Boston you were always there for me. Miss you loads and loads. You are on higher ground and at peace. Remain Blessed always. Subomi Macaulay (New York)

I am so sorry to hear about Sam's passing.  I sang with Sam at church and he had such a beautiful deep bass voice.  He was a great addition to the choir.  Now he is singing with the angels in heaven.  He will be greatly missed by everyone.  What a great guy!

Dear Ogundipe Family,
When Sam opened his heart to our missionaries and was baptised into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I was called to be his home teacher. I was able to enjoy serving your dear Sam in many ways. When he was had to leave the house on Central Avenue, I was inspired by the Holy Ghost to take him to the Beacon Independent Living on Independence Blvd. I know he lived better and more cleanly there and with the cooperation of his sister Temi, found a peace and comfort he had not enjoyed for quite awhile. When he was moved to Liberty, I sought him out as no one ever notified me of any of his situations, not even his death, except our church clerk, who noticed his obituary. I am grateful to have gotten to be a part of Sam's life. He most especially enjoyed listening to WDAV Classical Music Radio as we rode to church together in the mornings. He was transported back to a time when he enjoyed his father's musical and cultural influences. Sam became a dear friend to me and my family. We know that he is where he can finally find peace and rest "beyond the river". Thanks to all who cared for Sam in any way. Our love and condolences to all.

My dear friend and brother..I thank God for your life...The memories from high school to how you were so dependable, kind and generous to my twin and I when we moved to Atlanta....I cannot even begin to imagine what your family is going through right now. 
I know you are resting with God and take solace in that. I have the Ogundipe family in my thoughts and prayers.

For all of Sam's dear family, our sincere prayers and condolences are with you at this time of your loss.  His precious Ola has told me of how dearly she has loved him and will miss him terribly.  I feel certain that is true for all who have loved him both family and friends.
While all of you will miss him terribly, you know deep in your heart of hearts that he is with the Lord and is now free from all of the struggles he has endured for so long.  He is facing our precious Lord and Savior Jesus with a PERFECT HEALTHY BODY, never to be in pain or sickness again.  We must praise God for this assurance.  It will give all of you peace in coming days.
