Mrs. Fowler, age 89, beloved mother and grandmother, of Lancaster, formerly of Charlotte passed away Saturday July 7, 2012 at Springs Hospital in Lancaster, SC. She was born July 14, 1922, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Marshall Plummer, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years John B. Fowler. Mrs. Fowler was a supervisor with Southern Bell retiring after 37 Years of service, a member of First Baptist Church, Oak Island, NC and a former member of Mount Harmony Baptist Church, Matthews, NC. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday July 12, 2012 in Sharon Memorial Park conducted by Reverend Mark Miller and Reverend Wayne Dickson. Survivors include; daughter Nancy Whitley and husband William of Lancaster, SC; sons, John Blair Fowler, III and wife Rita of Gaffney, SC, James Marshall Fowler and wife Diane of Brooksville, FL, eight grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
