Sarah A. Moore

Sarah Ann Davis Moore, 90, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away January 3, 2015 at Pineville Rehab and Living Care. Sarah was born on March 31, 1924 in Mecklenburg County and was the daughter of the late William Green Davis and Dora Elizabeth Nance Davis.

She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Fort Mill where she was a faithful member. She devoted herself to God, her church and her family. She enjoyed watching westerns on television. Many say “she should have been a cowgirl.”

She is survived by her son, Donald Moore of Charlotte NC; daughter, Sherry Miller of Fort Mill, SC; daughter-in-law, Dianna Moore of Charlotte; grandchildren, Robbie, Sarah, Debbie and Brian; four great grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Edward Moore and son, Thomas Edward Moore.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, January 9, 2015 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Reverend Scott Vail officiating. Visitation will follow the service at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service from 1:45 to 2:45 pm.
