Shirley Jean Watson

Mrs. Watson, 75, of Fort Mill, SC passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Wellmore of Tega Cay, SC. She was born August 16, 1941 in Camp Lejeune, NC. She was the daughter of the late Dillard W. Kersey, Sr. and Eunice Strickland Kersey. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Robert Brown Watson; her brother Charles Warren Kersey; her sister Doris Ann Leatherman and her step- son Robert Brown Watson, Jr.

Shirley was a homemaker and was famous for her homemade baked cakes.

Surviving are her sister Hazel Elizabeth Martin; her brother Dillard W. Kersey, Jr. and wife Judy Kersey; her sister-in-law Rose “Oice” Kersey her step- daughter Beth Watson Gordon; her grandchildren Shannon Bagshaw and husband Jeff, Richard Watson and Brandon Watson; her great grandchildren Trinity Faith Criswan, Morgan Layla Bagshaw, Ava Rhiannon Bagshaw and Katelyn Sara Bagshaw. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Sisk Memorial Baptist Church, Fort Mill, SC. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am Thursday July 6, 2017 at Crown Memorial Park Pineville, NC.
