Daddy,
There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you, that I don't miss you, or that I don't selfishly wish you were still here. I finally got brave enough to put out one of our homecoming pictures. It's so hard to look at it every day and not understand why you're not here anymore. Why me? Why my dad? Why? I'm slowly understanding that it's not always what I want or what I think I need in life, but it's what God wants and what He says I need. Unfortunately for our family, His plan included taking you. My biggest fear growing up was always disappointing you. Now, more than ever, is that fear more prevalent. I find myself asking, "what would Daddy think of this? What would he want me to do?" I keep coming back to the same answer: to do what I needed to do for my family and to be happy. So, Daddy, that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to be happy and stop being selfish. God knew what He was doing when He took you off this earth. I'm going to teach my boys about fishing and the importance of a bowl of ice cream on Saturday nights before bed, but most importantly I'm going to teach them about the man that they didn't get to know: the man who would tell it like it is, fish on Friday mornings then come home and take a nap, went to every softball game he could get to, but always took care of his family no matter how bad he felt. The man Tiffany, Kayla, and Jayden lovingly call "PawPaw". You may not be here, but your love, your spirit, and your determination live on. I love you, Daddy!

 Pawpaw ~ i miss you so much. But i know you are in a better place. I know you are up in heaven watchin me. You are my angle. Every day i wish you could be here with me. But i will always have you in my heart. I will always remeber are beach trips and are fishing trips. I know we will meet again at the gates. I LOVE YOU ?? pawpaw??

Paw Paw - Jayden and I miss you and love you so much.  Everytime he sees Santa he says Paw Paw - we miss you terribly.  Jayden says Paw Paw and Jesus when he looks at the Lords Supper hanging in the kitchen by the table. Last night he found some photo albums and in it were pictures of us and he tried to pull you off of the picture saying Paw Paw, my Paw Paw.  He is to young to understand the best I could tell him was Paw Paw is on a trip with Jesus. love you always

RIP my dear friend We have. Had some good times together with the whole gang going to the. Wrestling match at the old coliseum.See you again one day brother.

Your Daughter Tammys You Forever; You will always be my Dad  My Hero &  My Best Friend. If I could get A hug from You every day I would be
 able to concure  the World. I will: never forget you. You'll always be with me. And in my HEART Our Bond will never END. Pa I Will see you again and it will be  a Glorious DAY !!! Can't wait for You to hold me in your arms again I LOVE You My Dear Sweet Dad !!!!!

To one of the best friends I've ever had.  We had so many great times over the years going all the way back to our early teen years.  Times that I'll never forget.  We will miss you.
