Susan Carla Taylor

Susan Reynolds Taylor, 44, of Charlotte, NC passed away Monday October 9, 2017. A Charlotte native, Susan attended West Mecklenburg High School from 1986 to 1990. She was self-employed for many years.

Susan lived life openly and full of passion. She loved and adored her children and family whole heartedly. A loyal and dedicated friend that gave freely with an open heart. She was an avid reader, book lover, and devoted Game of Thrones fan.

Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Williams Reynolds of Charlotte, NC; sister, Cassandra Reynolds of Charlotte; nephew, Oliver Reynolds, of Charlotte, NC; grandparents, Rube “Bub” and Carl Williams of Charlotte, NC and Everette Sr. and Eunice Reynolds of Charlotte, NC; as well as many beloved extended family members.

The memory of Susan lives on through her daughter Zoe Belle Taylor and son Cooper Everette Taylor both of the home; father, Everette E. Reynolds Jr. of Charlotte, NC; brother, Todd Reynolds and wife Kayce Reynolds, their children, Elias and Everette, of Charlotte, NC; former spouse and father to her children, Donald Taylor of Charlotte, NC and his children, Mallory Taylor and her children, Hunter and Mason of Charlotte, NC and Aaron Taylor of Lowell, NC; as well as many beloved extended family members and an abundance of close friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday October 13, 2017 at Forest Lawn West 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208. The family will be gathering with friends to receive condolences at 1:00 pm and a service will be at 1:30.

Should friends desire, a memorial contribution can be made to a memorial fund designated for Susan’s children.
