Teresa Kay Neal

Teresa attended North Carolina State University where she majored in Biology with a minor in Genetics, and the Medical University of South Carolina where she majored in Perfusion Technology. She worked as a Perfusionist (she ran the heart and lung machine for open heart surgery) for many years. Most recently, she worked in clinical and sales roles for medical device companies, and was employed by Alung Technologies as a Clinical Specialist at the time of her death.

Teresa loved food, and enjoyed great dining and was an amazing cook and baker. She was known for the delicious desserts that she shared with family and friends. She was an avid traveler, and she traveled for both work and pleasure. She has visited many places such as Africa, Alaska, Europe, and South America, and this past summer she traveled with her sister to Scotland to trace their family ancestry.

Traveling around the world was one of her greatest passions. She truly lived life to the fullest!

She is survived by her sister, Tammy Crews Pao, brother-in-law, Gene Pao, and two nephews, Alex and Zach Pao.

A time to remember Teresa will be March 10, 2018 from 5 - 7 pm at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210.
