Born February 2, 1949 in Mecklenburg County, Tim was the son of the late Roy Franklin and Mildred Little Cochran and retired as a graphic designer from Hi-Q Photo Lith.
He was a graduate of Garinger High School and attended Central Piedmont Community College, receiving an Associate’s Degree in Chemistry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lola Ann Simmons.
Survivors include his children, Christopher Cochran, Tracy Cochran and Brandy Fawcett; 2 brothers, Edward Randolph Cochrane and Roy Johnny Cochrane; and 7 grandchildren.
Memorial Services to celebrate the life of Timothy Cochran are planned for 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 6440 Old Statesville Road, Charlotte, NC 28269. Friends will be received at the church from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.
