Vera Lynn Cromer

Lynn grew up in Florida and Charlotte, NC. She graduated from Garinger High School in 1968. She was a member of the Garinger Gals & Guys and the Lady Wildcats.

Lynn was a member of MorningStar Presbyterian Church in Matthews, NC. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Women, member of Stephen’s Ministry and enjoyed singing in the choir. Lynn was strong in her faith and has been reunited with her late husband, Thomas Cromer.

Lynn’s joy for life was contagious. She had a loving heart and joyful spirit. Her smile and laughter would light up a room. She was loved by many. She was “Mom” to many of her daughter, Paula, friends. She got her dream job of becoming Gigi in 2009 when her granddaughter, Zoe was born.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Cromer (Rob Jackson); granddaughter and joy of her life Zoe; sisters Margot Wells (Ken), Karen Brown (Eric); nieces and nephews Dena Shipp (Kenny); Eddie Brown (Kristin); Kevin Brown (Kristina); Amanda Pasquarello (John); and grandnieces and nephews; two great grandnieces; best friend Barbara Guthrie.
