Virginia Webster

Virginia was born on January 1, 1925 to Joseph and Katherine Mayner in Cleveland, Ohio. The family subsequently moved to Detroit, Michigan where Virginia ultimately met the man of her dreams, Richard “Dick” Webster. Dick and Virg – as Dick called her – married on December 23, 1944. Virginia had three children during their marriage, which lasted for 60 years until Dick died in 2005.

Virginia was Manager of Millinery at S.S. Kresege Company/Kmart in Arvada, Co from 1971 – 1980 until she and her husband relocated to Pensacola, FL where they ultimately retired.

Virginia is survived by her children Mark (Darlene), Pensacola, FL, Richard, Whittier, NC, and Susan, Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, David (Jennifer), Brian (Carrie), and Robert; great-grandchildren Meghan, Brice, Brady, and Max. She was predeceased in death by her husband.

Services for Mrs. Webster will be held at McEwen Funeral Home - Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210 on Saturday, March 20, 2021 with a Visitation from 11 am - 1 pm, and the Funeral Service beginning at 1 pm.
