After battling disease for several years and taking all chances possible for recovery, he went out as a true fighter and hero.
Born February 24, 1970, in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, he was a son of Dina and Eduard Ostrovskiy, and the brother of his loving sister, Renata.
His first 31 years, he lived in his hometown growing as an entrepreneur and a business owner. He became very well-known and respected by everyone that knew him.
In 2001, he moved to the United States to join his family and a year after, his beloved son Daniel was born. His love for soccer and his favorite team “Juventus” was unconditional. He shared his love for sports and music with his family. Live concerts and travels were his pure joy.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Elena, with whom they built a successful floral business together where he was the “strong mind” that steered the business. Until his last moments, he always kept his mind sharp when it came to his business.
He was predeceased by his father Eduard and his grandparents.
