My name is Todd Beltrone and I was a police officer for 20 years, so I had the wonderful opportunity to ride with Bill on many, many occasions.  I also had the pleasure of having dinner with bill many a night. I left the police department in 2019, my wife of 17 years had a stroke, and we moved to south Florida, and I just learned today of Bills passing. Obviously, you don't know me, but I wanted to express my condolences and tell you Bill made an impact on my life. He was a good man, a blessed man, and a pleasure to talk to always. I found Jesus and I have a strong faith, but most of my life that was not so. I know Bill is spending eternity with God, and heaven is a better place, since Bill has arrived. I wish your family health and happiness and I will include Bill in my prayers. God bless the Fogarty family.

Just recently  heard  Pastor Bill  passed in  April.  He was my pastor for several years at First Baptist Church of Weddington.   Oh how I love him and Zana!  They have been  such a powerful force in my spiritual journey!  So many fond memories  I have of Pastor Bill and Zana who gave tirelessly of themselves   as servants of the Lord!  Pastor Bill is in his Heavenly home  watching over us all as a Christlike Saint!  Amen!    My thoughts, prayers and love go out to Zana and the entire Fogarty Family!     Love, Judy Byrum

Bill and I shared many wonderful times at The Cove for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association chaplain conference for over 10 years. Bill would pick me up at the Charlotte airport and we'd share the 2hr drive to The Cove catching up on our lives and our work at BGEA. Bill was an exceptional instructor and devoted to his work in Crisis Response. He was loved by all of us who worked these conferences over the years. My heartfelt condolences to his bride and family. No doubt he heard "Well done my good and faithful servant" when he met our Savior. Love ya, Bill!! Will miss you, my friend!

Bill will be remembered as one of the early pioneers for Chaplaincy.  He was a gifted teacher to new and seasoned Chaplains.  I was honored to serve beside him as a Chaplain with ATF. Prayers in this your time of grief. Bill even at the last was an inspiration to all of us, especially to the ones without perfect health. I remember him for his service with disaster relief.

I got to watch God use brother Bill to start and build First Baptist Weddington. We were prayer partners along with several other pastor friends and would meet at First Baptist every week. Bill taught me how to be intimate with our Father. I will be praying for you as a family because I know this is a huge loss for you. May our Father comfort you during this time of grief. My heart goes out to you.

I had the privilege of working w/Bill on several disaster relief events since 2008 He displayed the skills necessary to serve as a "Blue Hat" as well as provide encouragement to all who serve w/him. He was a spiritual leader that I admired and I will miss him!
My thoughts and prayers are w/his wife and family. A leader like Bill is rare indeed
