As a long ago friend of the McRorie family, growing up in the Montclaire Neighborhood during elementary school, it saddens me greatly to hear of Sean's death!  My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family!

While I had only known Sean for about 2 years, he was always first with a joke and a smile and was one of the very few people I regarded as a close friend.  He had recently begun to shoot pool again and he always offered a challenge at the table.  Having a friend like Sean to share Tar Heels Basketball and Carolina Panthers Football games with was always a treat and I will forever remember him as a fiercely loyal friend.  Rest In Peace Sean.

After sharing a seat on the school bus with Sean in the 9th grade, a great friendship developed between us that lasted for the last 40 years. Many great adventures were shared back in the late 70;s and through the 80's going hiking, camping, skipping school together occasionally,High school graduation week at Ocean Drive,grateful dead concerts, Nascar races, spending time at each other's lake houses, working together at Ivey's, many, many long nights at P.B. Scotts(saw Stevie Ray together) and The Double Door. Sean was always a great friend who I could always trust. Easiest guy in the world  to piss-off, I did it often just to have fun with him and here him ramble on for an hour or two!
    Although in the last 10 years our lives have drifted apart in different directions, the past with Sean was always a good reflection and I'm so sorry that I will miss him. And I know his brothers will miss him too. RIP Sean........Eddie Link

I am so sorry to hear of Sean's passing.  I so enjoyed the time and friendship we shared while working together at FSI.  Sean you will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers to your family and all that loved you so much.

     I really don't know how to express our grief upon your lose.  Sean was such a beatiful child. He reminded us so much of our son Tommy.  I only wish we could have beem there to offer our love and confort in your hour of need.  God Bless both of you and our fond memories of your precious son.

Growing up with Sean and his brothers in the old neighborhood there was never a dull moment and always fun. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.  Sean will truely be missed and always be in our hearts.  All our love Mark,Kelly,and Ashley

I will remember the fun and good times that the McRorie cousins enjoyed as children.  Sean will be missed, but his family and friends have wonderful memories of him.  Gail and I send our thoughts and sympathy to the family.

Still in very much disbelief,  We had a lot of great times going back to the early '70's. Going from Junior and Senior High, and then off to college.  You will be missed !

Sean and I and our App State gang and others had some great times together over the years, music festivals, cookouts, concerts, hikes, camping and being a groomsman at my wedding. He was a man of great intelligence, a great admirer and walking encyclopedia of many types of musical performance, recordings and history. The same can be said of his love of sport - NASCAR racing, baseball, football, basketball and his intricate knowledge of anything to do with sport. He loved the Blue Ridge Mountains and would always vacation by traveling through them and drop by when he came through. My condolences go out to his family. He will be missed by all of us.

I am so proud to have been one of Sean's many friends.  We met many years ago and stayed friends, even weathering an Ice Storm together, trading food.  He used to love watching UNC and he will be missed when the season rolls around again.  My prayers and thoughts go out to his family.  Godspeed, my buddy.
