

Yue Hdok, 58, the youngest of five children, passed away at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center on October 31, 2022. Yue was born on June 15, 1964 in Vietnam, he was the son of Y Blo Eban and H Uon Hdok. He grew up in Buon Cuor Knia village.
He fled Vietnam and came to the United States in 2001. The following year of 2002, Yue started working for T.J.Maxx as a forklift driver, and from there he worked throughout his life. He was a treasured member of the T.J.Maxx family.
Everyone in Yue’s life - family, friends, and coworkers alike - knew and loved him for his kindness, hardworking, unconditional love to everyone around him, and willingness to talk to anyone around him.
Those left to honor Yue’s memory include his wife, H Ria Kbuor; his siblings, Y Mun Hdok, Y Wang Hdok, H Nget Hdok, Y Rit Hdok, Lang Nie (brother-in-law) , H Pun Mlo (sister-in-law); his children, H Sita, Adrong, Y Ngon Adrong, Y Phor Adrong, H Goanh Kbuor, and H Vila Kbuor; his grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, and Susanna; his nephews and nieces, H Lai&Y Blec, H Diu, Y Phuong&H Sara, Y Phic&H Ziem, Y Thuc&H Jali, H Yic&Y Thom, H Nhia&Guanglei; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation for Yue will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at United Montagnard Christian Church, 1009 Little Rock Road, Charlotte, NC 28214. A committal service will occur Monday, November 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208.
