

Angela Giuliani Tucker, 53, of Covesville, Virginia, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 23, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Angela graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in mechanical engineering. After a year traveling and working in Europe, she joined VDOT as an assistant resident engineer in the Richmond office where she met her husband. She then served as Resident Engineer in the Albemarle County office for ten years before accepting the position of Neighborhood Development Services Manager for the City of Charlottesville.Angela had a reputation for getting things done. She had a strong spirit, a love of nature, and a thirst for knowledge. We would like to thank all the friends, family, and caregivers of Martha Jefferson Hospital and Hospice of the Piedmont who helped us through this journey. She is survived by her husband, Alan; two daughters, Lauren Gale, and Jessica Ann; her parents, Harry and Pat Giuliani; sister, Julie Greene; in laws, Sandy and Ann Tucker; and beloved friends, Sue and Rick Kahr, and Anne and Mitch Neff. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville, Va.
