Barbara native to Charlottesville was born November 26, 1955 to Ben Leeroy and Juanita Morris Staton.
Barbara is preceded in death by her father Ben Staton, her sisters Debra Staton and Brenda Jacobs.
Barbara is survived by her children, Bradley Thompson, John Thompson and Jennifer Shaver. She has 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. She is also survived by her sister Cheryl Sipe (Bobby) and brother Frankie Staton.
Interment will be private at Holly Memorial Gardens.
