Bernice Elizabeth Lamm

She was born in Charlottesville on January 12, 1948 to Ralph E Shifflett Sr. and Martha E. Shifflett.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Martha Shifflett, three brothers Ralph (Junior), Marion (Wayne), and Raymond Shifflett, and her loving husband of 42 years Thomas W. Lamm.

She is survived by three daughters Tina Breeden (Tony), Lisa Wyant and Virginia (Beth) Lamm, two stepsons that she loved as her own Robert (Bobby) Lamm and Travis Lamm. Four grandchildren Adam (Chelsi), Matt (Frankie), Kaitlyn, and Hannah and one great-grandson Bentley, one sister Diana Shifflett Harris, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, family and “adopted” children that she cared for during her many years as a childcare provider, and her beloved dog Daisy.

A graveside service will be held at Monticello Memory Gardens 670 Thomas Jefferson Parkway Charlottesville, VA, 22902, on Friday January 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor David Morris officiating.

Pallbearers will be Robert Lamm, Travis Lamm, Michael Shifflett, Lewis Walker, Palmer Putnam and Michael Hensley.
