Carl “Dean” McCauley Sr., a resident of Charlottesville, VA passed unexpectedly on July 13, 2021, at the age of 53. Dean is survived by his children, sisters, and brothers.
He was born on June 11, 1968 to Mary and Jonas Moon. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry for many years. Dean enjoyed fishing, staying busy, and a cold beer. He was loved by many and his son, Carl “Deane” McCauley Jr., will miss their weekend adventures immensely. Special mention to his sisters, Rhonda Wilson and Carolyn Shifflett.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for July 31, 2021 for close family and friends.
