

Clarice was born on August 3, 1954, to the late William and Zenobia Harris. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Claudia and Janet Harris.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Anderson; her daughter, Keisa Harris; her grandchildren, Logan and Keya Harris, and Keiman Bell; and her great-grandchildren, Winter Ayers, Summer Pettiford, and Baby Co-Co. She is also survived by her sister, Glenda Martin; her nieces, Lisa Harrigan and Jessica Eblan; her great-niece Suriyah Frances, and great-nephew, Jordan and Lauren Harrigan, Gavin and Nadia Eblan; and her devoted and loving best friend, Joy Johnson.
Clarice worked for Comdial and later at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Environmental Services where she retired from. She loved basketball and was a proud and loyal Los Angeles Lakers fan—especially of her favorite player, Kobe Bryant. Clarice cherished every moment with her grandchildren and family. She was always ready to celebrate, loved music and dancing, and enjoyed playing backgammon and tonk. A talented cook, she prepared Thanksgiving dinner for more than twenty people every year.
Clarice will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her soft nature, genuine spirit, and her willingness to help anyone at any time. She was an outstanding citizen, a woman of God, a fighter, and a survivor. Clarice did not lose her battle—she won. She fought long and hard and never complained, trusting that God would not give her more than she could bear. She fulfilled the mission God placed on her life, and that mission is now complete. She was a faithful and mighty servant.
