Her sons loved her homemade biscuits and would be gone before they would cool down. She was a homemaker, fixing all the meals, sewing to fix clothes or overalls as she called all pants and walking up the mountain to hang their clothing out to dry. She enjoyed the outdoors and riding through the Shenandoah National Park, North Carolina and Tennessee mountains on the back of her husband’s Harley Davidson motorcycle. Cora was a simple and godly woman. Cora was a member of City Church formally Assemblies of God where in her earlier years she worked with the children’s church service and enjoyed the many services over the years led by Pastor Pete.
There will be no services held at this time. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
