Mrs. Elaine S Fewell

Elaine Stokes Fewell, daughter of the late James Alvin Stokes and Doris Bickers Stokes was born on April 6, 1959 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished and honored thru the family she leaves behind. Elaine is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gary S. Fewell and their two daughters; Casey Fewell Chisholm and her husband Brian of Lake Monticello, and Vanessa A. Fewell and her boyfriend Brian Sandidge also of Lake Monticello and five grandchildren; Cody, Kaylee, Cameron, Taegan and Ava. Elaine is also survived by her siblings Jackie and Billy Brockman, Linda and Frog Stoneburner, and Bill Stokes.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Cathy Harris and a man that she loved like a father Amos Brock Fewell Sr.

Elaine lived her life the way she wanted, and was a force to be reconned with. If she loved you, she loved with every ounce of her soul. You could always count on her for anything at anytime. She was the most selfless, caring, giving, compassionate, feisty and toughest woman around. She had a hand in raising everyone that came in her life and claimed them as her own. Everyone was always welcomed and considered family. She has truly left her mark and touched everyone's life she came in contact with. She will live on in the hearts of us all and be greatly missed by everyone.

The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 2-4 pm at Lake Christian Church located at 733 South Boston Road in Palmyra Va 22963.
