Geneva Roach Marshall

She was born on February 26, 1934 to the late Roy and Jennie Roach, also preceded in death by her parents, husband George Marshall, sister Dorothy Roach, brothers Kelly Roach and Baby Roach, Her granddaughter Andrea Shifflett, stepson Louis Marshall, brother in law Eugene "Jack" Parrish, and special family members Matt Bunyea, and Tyler Bunyea.

She is survived by her daughter Natalie LaVerne Shifflett (Gary), granddaughter Lauren Shifflett (Derek Harper), three great granddaughters Willow, Autumn, and Carly Harper, sister Glory R. Parrish, three special nieces (who were like daughters), Diane Bunyea, Marcia Parrish, and Becky Sadler (Barry). Other special family members Brandon Bunyea, (Toni), Will Bunyea, Mason Bunyea, Lily Bunyea, Kelly Smoker (Philip), Jessica Dehoux (Josh), Jackson and Jameson Dehoux, step daughter Becky Marshall and her family, step grandsons Mike Marshall, (Tonyia), Allen Marshall (Sandy), G. W. Marshall (Heather), and step granddaughter Lynn Payne (Bob).

Numerous cousins and a dear friend Helen Craig (Tinker).

Geneva was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, enjoying the Ladies Prayer Group every Tuesday, she loved to sing and always had a song in her heart:, sewing, scrapbooking, and photo albums were her hobbies, also loved the family vacation trips.

A Visitation will be held for Geneva on Saturday August 23, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Teague Funeral Service 2260 Ivy Road Charlottesville, VA, following the visitation a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at Teague Funeral Service, Interment will follow at Gentry's United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Dave Conyers officiating the services.

Pallbearers for Geneva will be Brandon Bunyea, Mason Bunyea, Barry Sadler, Josh Dehoux, Philip Smoker, and Kelly B. Smoker.

Following Interment the family requests you to join them for a time of meal and fellowship at Bethel Baptist Church, 5401 Watts Passage Road, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
