Glen Alton Payne

Glen Alton Payne I, born on February 1, 1957 in Charlottesville, VA and resided in Louisa, VA, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Valerie, his children Glen II (Tiffany), Eric (Allie), Stefanie (Deven), many grandchildren and his brothers, Kenny L. Payne (Sheryl) of Halifax, VA, Mike Payne (Linda) of Palmyra, VA, Gary S. Payne (Kaye) of Chambersburg, PA and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Sunday, September 24th, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Teague Funeral Service located at 2260 Ivy Road, Charlottesville. Glen was an avid fisherman, a very dedicated husband, loving father and doting grandfather. Glen was known for his large capacity to love, for his generosity, unwavering strength, contagious humor and his ability to tell a great story. Glen will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
