

Grover Cecil Clements of Charlottesville, Va., born August 28, 1934, left this earth for his eternal reward on February 7, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, William Clements and Viola Clements; and his beloved wife, LaVerne Clements. He survived by his sons, Bill Clements, Bob Clements, Andy Clements, and Daniel Clements; daughters in law, Deb Clements, Brenda Clements, and special daughter-in-love, Mary Clements; grandchildren, Dr. Kim Clements, Bill Clements, T.C. Clements, Josh Clements, Gabe Clements, Shane Clements, Ray Clements, Jake Chamberlain, Jared Chamberlain, and Casey Clements; great-grandchildren, Berkley Clements, Trevor Clements, Ariana Clements, Logan Clements, Brody Clements, Jacob Clements, Whitney Clements, and Sebastian Clements, as well as many friends who enjoyed this remarkable man. Grover was an instrument maker/machinist at UVA for 42 years, as well a farmer, photographer and skilled craftsman. He is a veteran who served in the National Guard and a charter member of the North Garden Volunteer Fire Department. A celebration of Grover’s life will be held at Teague Funeral Service on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends directly after the service with a dessert reception. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the North Garden Volunteer Fire Department 4907 Plank Rd, North Garden, VA 22959. Memorial contributions can be made to the North Garden Volunteer Fire Department.
