Covid-19 on November 23, 2020. Harold was born in Columbus Ohio and attended MIT, the
University of Florida and Johns Hopkins. He lived many years in Annapolis Maryland, where he
worked as an electrical engineer at the Naval Ordnance Lab. He was an avid sailor and
enjoyed sailing his boats on the Chesapeake Bay. In retirement Harold lived in Houston, Texas,
Eugene, Oregon and Waynesboro, Virginia. During retirement he was able to pursue his many
interests, including history, art, music and alternative worldviews. He was a gentleman and a
scholar. He is survived by his niece, Adrienne Atkinson of New York City, and numerous
