Danny was the son of the late Harrison and Frances Wood. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, and his brother-in-law, Lonnie Branham. Danny is survived by his sister-in-law, Eloise Branham; his nephew, Kevin Branham and his wife Kim, and their children; and his niece, Dana Branham.
Danny retired from State Farm Insurance after many years of service. He enjoyed bluegrass music, auction sales, and hunting trips to Montana with his friends. He was fond of all animals but cats held a special place in his heart.

Services will be held Monday May 24, 2021 at 12pm with a visitation an hour prior, at Teague Funeral Service with a graveside service immediately following at Holly Memorial Gardens.
