Joseph Franklin Terrell Jr.

Joseph Franklin Terrell, Jr. 83 passed away peacefully at his home. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to the late Vera Davis Terrell. He died on July 2, 2016. He is survived by his two brothers, Paul Terrell and his wife Joan, Phil Terrell and his wife Pauline. He has four daughters, Linda Garrison and her husband Cliff, Jackie Birckhead and her late husband Frank, Kathy Miller and her husband Jerry, Leann Collier and her husband Melvin, 8 grandchildren, Jay Sanner , Kipps and Ryan Birckhead, Candace Byars, Tiffany Shaffer, Amanda Collier, Chance Garrison and Brittany Miller and 6 great grandchildren Kaden, Jordyn, Tristan, Hayden, Cole and Adrianna. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church on Park Street Charlottesville Va. As a 50 plus year member of the Masonic Order Frank was an active member in the Blue Ridge Court #8 of the Order Of The Amaranth and served as Royal Patron multiple times. He also served as Past Grand Royal Patron of the Grand Court Of Virginia along with Eastern Star of Virginia, the Shriners, Scottish Rite, and the Elks Club of Charlottesville Lodge #389. At one time he served as Chairman of the March of Dimes raising funds to stop birth defects. The family will meet with friends on July 7th, 2016 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, Teague Funeral Home, Charlottesville, VA.
