

She was preceeded in death by her parents Joseph and Estelle Rittenhouse. She was also preceeded in death by her husband George Elwood Hall; a brother, Joseph Julian Rittenhouse; a sister, Patricia R. Wine; and a son, Stephen E. Hall.
Kathryn is survived by one son George Hall and friend Mary Lou; three daughters, Janet H. Curry, Susan H. Satterfield and her husband Dwayne, and Sara Jo Hall; one daughter-in-law, Terry R. Hall; two sisters-in-law, Lorena H. Garver and Laura H. Velle; six grandchildren, Christina Rigney, Charlie Curry, Carter Hall, Will Hall, Joseph Satterfield, and John Satterfield; two great-grandsons, Caleb Morris and Nathan Morris; one sister, Martha R. Treichler; and two brothers, David Rittenhouse and Wilbur Rittenhouse. She also leaves an extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kathryn was a charter member of the Charlottesville Church of the Brethren where she served her God faithfully. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to all that had the blessing of knowing her.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:00pm Monday, January 19, 2015 at Charlottesville Church of the Brethren, 1225 Rio Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901. Interment will follow at Prize Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Charlottesville Church of the Brethren in Kathryn’s name.
