She’s survived by her daughters, Bozana Popovic and Gorana Zekanovic and their families, her sister Gospava Bencun, as well as the rest of her loving family and a multitude of friends.
A visitation will be held at Teague Funeral Home, located at 2260 Ivy Rd, Charlottesville, Virginia, 22903, on March 7, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A reception with a meal will be held following the service, beginning at 1:00 pm, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather in remembrance of Rista.
Rista will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
