Rose Fisk-Atkins passed away in her home in Ivy, VA on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Born August 14, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Reverend George E. Fisk Sr. and Frances Rolston of Charlottesville, VA. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brothers George Fisk Jr. and Cecil Calvin Sites III. Rose is survived by her husband Avery (Lee) Atkins; sons, Nakia Ewers and his wife Amy, Jason Ewers and Shane Ewers; grandson, Jeremy Ewers; granddaughters, Kyleigh Ewers and Morgan Shifflett; brothers, Paul Fisk and Billy Sites; and a sister, Connie Sites. Rose was a beautiful soul who left her inprint on many. She was very spiritual and loved nature. She never gave up or lost faith that there was a better life out there. She will be missed by many but her spirit still lives on. A memorial service will be conducted from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Teague Funeral Home.
