Tammy White

Tammy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lunsford and Nancy Ashley; her maternal grandparents, Leo and Birdie Crickenberger; her uncles, Eugene E. Ashley and Melvin Crickenberger; her aunts, Nancy Crickenberger and Darlene Evans; and her cousins, Roy Haislip and Christopher Ashley.

Tammy worked as a manager with Papa Johns in Palmyra for many years. She had an unimaginable love for her family, the beach, watching softball and dancing. It wasn’t a proper family function if Tammy wasn’t there teasing her brothers about the Dallas Cowboys as she was an avid Washington Commanders Football fan. She spent as much time as possible with her beloved grandchildren. She loved being their grandma.

Tammy will be sorely missed by her family and all who loved her.

Tammy leaves behind her husband, Michael White; her sons; Trenton White and Joshua White; her daughters, Alexis Mason and Crystal Carter (Anne Shaver); her grandsons, Jayden White and Dameien White; her mother, Deborah Ashley; her father, Herbert L. Ashley and his wife, Karen; her brother, Gregory Ashley and his wife, Sherrie; her sisters, Shannon Colletta, her fiancé, Jose and son Jackson Evert, Kristen Ryan and her fiancé, Brandon Hyre, son Harper Hyre and daughter, Audrey Ryan; her nephew, Chaevis Ashley, his wife, Danielle and their son Rowdy; her niece, Whitney A. Sipe, her husband Adams and their daughter, Nellie; her Aunts and Uncles, Wayne L. Ashley, Samuel Ashley, Wanda and Curtis Kidd, Charles and Wilma Crickenberger, Barry and Pat Crickenberger, Billy and Diane Crickenberger, Reese and Marry Carroll, Debra Ashley, Aunt JoJo and Charles Williams; her brother in law, Marcus Williams; special friend Thelma Sims. Tammy also leaves behind a host of cousins, whom she loved dearly.

A celebration of Tammy’s life will be held at a later date.
