She was born October 14, 1942 to the late Mary Hall Thomas and Gaines Monroe Thomas.
Ginger is proceeded in death by her parents Mary and Gaines Thomas, a brother Erving Paul Thomas, a sister Janice Moon and a brother in law Michael Davis.
She leaves behind a husband Claude Shelhorse; six sisters Myrtle, Ruby, Golores, Dale, Deborah and Brenda; seven brothers Lawerence, Charles, Jerry, Wade, Danny, Calvin and Larry; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ginger was not only a sister but a second mother to her siblings and she will be greatly missed by all.
A service will be held July 1, 2019, at Monticello Memorial Gardens at 11 am.
