Virginia Pauline “Jenny” Turner, 72, of Crozet, passed away on September 6, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Jenny was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on June 4, 1946, to the late Edgar and Elizabeth Sprouse Brown. Jenny was a devoted child care provider for more than 30 years. She loved to read, cook, and spend time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jane Johnson; three brothers, Edgar Brown, Richard Brown, Paul Brown, and her grandson Daniel Stephens; and niece Melissa Jane Pardue.
Jenny is survived by her four sons, Jeffrey Alan Turner and wife Terri, Lawrence Kevin Turner, Scott Wade Turner and wife Tammy Via, Patrick Jay Turner and wife Latanya; two daughters, Donna Turner Fewell, and husband Kenny, Courtney Nicole Bayless, and husband Lee; thirteen grandchildren, Sarah Simms, Andrew Dempsey, Evans and Josh Bayless, Jeremy and Zachery Stevens, Lauren, Karli, Kali, Mackenzie, Tyler and Timothy Turner, and Megan Clemmons; three great grandchildren, Colton, Caleb and Gracie Stephens; and her great niece Jessica Pardue; as well as three sisters Martha Ann Farish, Elizabeth Ward, and Margaret Brown; many nieces and nephews and special family friend Donna Dempsey.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018, at 2pm, at Teague Funeral Service in Charlottesville. A graveside will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 9, 2018, from 6-8pm, also at the funeral home.
