

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Charles Nash, Lillian Banton, Bernice Nash, Herman Nash, Wellman “Shag” Nash, Bettie Ann Nash, Shirley Woody and his dearly beloved daughter in law Patsy Nash.
Frank is survived by his wife, Peggy Nash, the love of his life for 70 years and his children: Wyatt “PeeWee” Nash, Cheryl Lloyd (Danny) and grandpup Bentley, and Tessa Pearson (Tommy) and grandcat Bisquick. He is also survived by his sister, Eula Clark, his brother-in law Roger Snead (Cathy), and sisters-in- law Joyce Nash and Lynn Clements. He is also survived by his grandchildren Shannon Nash and Kelly Nash along with his great grandchildren: Kevin, Nathan, Jace, Brayden, Zaylee, Kyle, Kassidy and Kelsey. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Frank served in the U.S. Air Force as an Airman First Class during the Korean War, after which he worked at Sperry Marine as a Marketing Representative until retirement. He loved being active and he also worked part time at the Livestock Market in Charlottesville on the weekends. In retirement he enjoyed working on Kluge’s Golf Course.
Frank enjoyed gardening and sharing his vegetables with friends and family. He also enjoyed tending to his yard and always had the best yard in the neighborhood. He was happy taking care of his family and friends and would do anything to help someone in need. He loved Bluegrass and Gospel music especially old hymns, yearly beach vacations and sharing every holiday and birthdays with his family. He received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior as was exemplified in his love for family and friends.
As per his wishes, he died peacefully at home with his family, loving Hospice team especially his nurse Brandi and the Chaplain Denise along with special caregivers Thelma Whiting and Janice Spellman.
A family visitation will be held for Frank on Wednesday April 1, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Teague Funeral Service 2260 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 1, 2026, 1:00 p.m. at Teague Funeral Service, the family requests that you stay for a Repass following the Celebration of Life. Interment will be at a later date at Riverview Cemetery.
