His best friend and companion, Missy (beagle) was a source of joy and happiness.
He worked in the construction industry for his entire career. He retired from Martin Horn, Inc. after 15 years of service working with heavy equipment. He always loved working with wood and made furniture, decorations and other items that will be cherished for many years to come. He loved working in his garden and making the fruits of his labor available to family and friends. He also loved working on things that were broke. He never found something that he could not repair. His knowledge of just about everything amazed his family and friends and cannot be replaced.
The family wishes to express gratitude for the loving and compassionate care he received from Dr. Andrew M. Ramano, Dr. Sylvia S. Hendrix, the staff at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital and the staff at Hospice of the Piedmont.
