

SWIERCZEK, Anne Louise (nee Snyder), 86, died in her home June 15. She is deeply mourned by her husband Richard, daughters Suzanne, Celia, Ellen, Lisa, Amy and Katy, her 11 grandchildren and sons-in-law. To the very end, she continued to show her great intelligence and sharp wit. She was pre-deceased by her brother Joseph Snyder and is survived by her older brother, John.
Both she and her husband were born in Fulton, New York where in 1944 she graduated from Fulton High School, and received a Certificate as a Registered Nurse upon graduation from The Edward J. Meyer Memorial Training Hospital for Nurses in Buffalo, New York in 1948. After working in hospitals in New York State and Florida, she worked as a nurse for ARAMCO oil company in Saudi Arabia from 1952 to 1954. She then worked as a Charge Nurse at Lee Memorial Hospital, and later Andrew Michaud Nursing Home in Fulton. She and Richard, who was employed as a music teacher, were wed on December 27, 1954.
There will be no visiting hours, and contributions in her name may be made to Hope Hospice, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
