EAST HARWICH – David Joseph Belliveau, 80, passed away at home on August 26, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his beloved wife Phyllis (Oxner). Born in Cambridge, MA on Nov. 9, 1931, son of the late Amadee and Roseann (Chaisson) Belliveau.
He started school at St. Charles in Waltham, MA, later attending St. Mary’s in Lynn, MA, he then transferred to Chatham High School. David proudly served in the US Army from 1949 to 1952. He was a self employed carpenter for many years, leaving behind his business partner and best friend Richard McCarthy.
Besides his wife Phyllis, he leaves behind a daughter Debra Caffi and her husband Michael; grandchildren Alyssa and Alex Caffi; brothers, Gerald Belliveau of Eastham, MA and Robert Belliveau of Hartford, CT; sister in law, Frances Belliveau of Chatham, MA and Martha Belliveau of Hartford, CT; brother in law, Earl “Skip” Kendrick. He was predeceased by his son Mark Belliveau, brother, Philip Belliveau and sister, Joan Kendrick.
