The Teachers of Monomoy Community Services send their love and condolences for your loss. Laura was always a bright spot in our day when she'd pick up or drop off Shannon at our daycare center.  No one who brought so much kindness and joy to others should leave us so soon.  

It's been many years since Laura and Bob lived across the street from us . I have fond memories of burgers and hotdogs on the barbie, macaroni salad with pickles, their dog Amber coming over to visit our dogs, Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities,  and just hanging out. She always had a smile and was loved by many.  Our heartfelt condolences to Bob and Shannon,  she will always be with you in your heart 

Laura, thank you for the positive impact you had on my life. when we crossed paths, you always were happy to see me; you had nothing but a smile on your face, in possibly the darkest of times. I thank you for being a true soul to everyone you crossed; you were transparent and so kind, thank you for sharing your life among my dad Fred who passed away in 2007, I pray you both are together laughing as the friends you guys were for so many years. Im so sad to hear of your passing, but your life will be celebrated and remembered by the many who absolutely loved your presence. I thank you for all that you did, and may you rest in peace among my father.

Laura was my neighbor on Cedar Street and she has been such a fun part of my life. Always a smile, a laugh and one of the best hugs you could ever receive. It didn’t matter how much time had passed or where she saw you, she was always delighted to see you. The night sky is brightened by another star, but here on earth is now a bit darker. My most sincere condolences to her entire circle of family and friends. We’ve lost a good one.

Laura you and i traveled down many roads together. I am glad i got to share the big moments of life together. From marriage to birth of our children. Surviving breast cancer together. I love you and i will miss you. Prayers to Shannon and Bob, sorry they lost you too soon. You are at peace now Laura.

I fondly remember Laura's indelible smile and how genuinely happy she was to greet you. Peace to her, her family, and all that she touched.

Laura was very close friends with my sister,  Jennifer. She was always kind to me. She had a vibrant smile and I will always remember her smiling. May she rest in peace. Huge hug to her family. 

RIP my cousin - my first friend. So many memories of playing at Aunt Rose’s house - jumping on the bed - hanging out at Oyster Pond and riding with our legs dangling out the back of the station wagon for the ride back up Cedar Street, and golden ginger ale and archway cookies at Grandpa Forgeron’s after the band concert on Friday nights. Your genuine care and concern for others and your loving smile will remain in my heart. 

My aunt laura was always a well-spring of kindness, caring and generosity. Every time I saw her she was enthusiastically interested and encouraging. It’s nice to read others’ memories of her and realize now that she had such a similar impact on so many others. I’ll miss her and I regret the time and distance that separated us over the years. Love to Shannon and Bob.  

I'll never forget meeting Laura for the first time. I introduced myself and she immediately hugged me when she realized how I was connected. She said, "Shannon, you call me anytime you need anything. You're family now!" Family... after knowing her for only minutes. She always cast a glow across any room with her big beautiful smile and joy filled eyes. Love to Bob and Shannon ❤

I met Laura and Bobby through friends, back in the 70's, after moving to the Cape.
We enjoyed fishing trips and boating to Nantucket. Laura was always smiling I remember!  When I had my daughter Emily, we used to visit her with little Shannon.
And they would play together.
I was sad to hear the news that she passed, but now she's smiling in Heaven.

My Aunt Laura played the piano endlessly for me when I was a small child so that I could sing songs as I sat next to her on the piano bench.  Just this summer I sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow in honor of her.  That was my favorite.    Little did I know...perhaps she felt my appreciation in some part of her kind heart.  
She taught me a love for horses and helped me develop my ear for music.  She never claimed to be perfect, and she endured many struggles of her own.  But she was kind and she wanted to help others.  There is a wonderful legacy in that.

I am truly so sorry for your loss of Laura. She was such a nice person and always happy. I remember meeting her years ago when she worked at the Impudent Oyster. She always had a smile on her face and was never negative. I remember when she had  her daughter and it was the best thing that happened to her. She was thrilled. Then she was at D’Angelos and we always had a laugh over the stuffed pepper soup. Then at Cumberland Farms again always smiling and so upbeat. My heart aches for you both.. Thoughts and prayers to you all.. 

Laura was my younger cousin.  We had lots of fun and laughs our whole lives. She was a kind and giving person. I loved her. She will be greatly missed.  She is now in the arms of her mother.

Laura and I went to school I think from K - ??  I could always count on her! EXAMPLE:
I was on a horse riding WILDLY  up the street in front of her house!! She Heard Me Screaming 
Because Someone Slapped the Horse’s butt while I on bare back!!
She came out and SAVED my LIFE!! 
I don’t think she knew it but I was falling off and the horse was about to put his huff in my face!
Never forget Always love you Laura 

Laura and I were friends and co-workers for many years. As an employee she could always be counted on, which is a rare trait in the foodservice industry.  But most of all she was a kind and caring person. She would do anything she could for a friend and most of all her family.  I know my life has been better for knowing her. She has been taken way too soon and will be missed by many. My deepest sympathies to her loving family and to all of us who were lucky enough to have had here share our lives with us.
