Peter, I miss you and I like to think you have reunited with your mother, father, and your sister Linda. We had a lot of laughs at the West Chatham Post Office. You will be missed by many. Good by my friend. Perhaps we will meet again🦮⚾️⚾️

"Hello, Jane" is how he answered each time I phoned him, which was at least once or twice a week. I came to know Peter in AZ where we worked together several years ago. We became friends and have remained so for more than two decades. Peter moved back to his beloved MA and I eventually moved back to IL. Peter did come to visit me a couple times. So, we did the next best thing, we conversed on the phone. If one of us had not heard from the other for a few days, a phone call was made and we were glad to hear from the caller. He had a silly sense of humor, had a way of letting me know how good the weather was in MA. I remember most recently how he sought and found the perfect dog to have for company. HOW he loved his Willie. Peter was a quiet private person. He did not share with me his personal business. I feel a great loss by not hearing his voice now. I'm sure that Peter is enjoying being in the company of his loved ones that have passed before him. Some day I will hear him say again "hello Jane".

I really enjoyed getting to know Peter over the last three years as he became an integral part of our Chatham Anglers family. He became a passionate Anglers fan, attending almost all the Anglers home games. I'd chat with him at least once each game, as he was easy to find, always sitting in the same place in a chair near our press box. I will miss Peter's wit, intelligence, and compassion.

I will remember Peter fondly. He had a quirky sense of humor and was a fun and excellent partner at bridge. Rest In Peace….
