

Bob graduated from Easton High School in 1943 and immediately joined the Army Air Corps. As an aerial gunner stationed in Italy he saw a great deal of action across southern Europe.
After an honorable discharge, he enrolled at Lafayette College and later transferred to East Stroudsburg University, where he met his wife, Doris. He earned a degree in health and physical education.
After graduation he worked at Volco Brass and Copper Company, retiring as Executive Vice President and CEO. He then opened a brass and copper mill/warehouse near Allentown, PA.
Bob and Doris travelled extensively in the United States including Alaska and Hawaii and visited many countries in Europe he had only seen from the air.
Bob was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed playing handball, basketball, and tennis.
In addition to his wife, Doris, to whom he was married for 64 years, he is survived by his three children: Christine (Steven) Eagle of Miami, FL, Michael (Kathy) Kiefer of Phoenix, AZ, and Robert Kiefer of Martinsville, NJ. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a sister, Audrey Taylor of Oak Harbor, WA.
