Andre Dewayne Flippin

He departed this life on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Andre was preceded in death by his mother, Flora Mae Murray Flippin; father, Charles W. Flippin, Sr; sisters, Bettina Flippin, Regina Flippin Martin; brothers, Charles W. Flippin Jr., Rashad Flippin, Lebrone Flippin and Ray Anthony Flippin.

Andre affectionately called Wayne was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church since childhood and a graduate of Brainerd High School. After graduation he honorably and proudly served his country in the United States Army and served during operation Dessert Storm. He was previously employed with Siskin Steel and Supply Company.

Wayne leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jamelle Flippin; daughter-in-love, Shikenya McClain Flippin; granddaughters, Mamita Flippin, Shykeria McClain; grandsons, Manolo Flippin and Montez Hambrick; sisters, Pauline Evans, Delores Lloyd, Joyce (Morris) Dawson, Agnes Brown, Nellie Jackson, Mylene Flippin, and LaShanda Cummings; a special niece, Pamela Flippin Snelling; devoted grand nephew, Kendrick Hughes; and a host of relatives, and friends.

A Committal Service with Military Honors will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 10:00 am at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
