Bettye June Jones

Bettye was a Caregiver and Teacher for over 20 years, and was employed by nursing homes.

She was a member of the St. Jude Children's Hospital and of Miracle Lighthouse Church.

Bettye was preceded in death by her son, John Hutcheson; dad, John P. White; mother, Zula Mae White; ex-husband, Dennis Hutcheson; and husband, Tom Jones.

Those Bettye leaves to cherish her memory include her son, David Hutcheson of Chattanooga, TN; daughter-in-law, Tammy Bartley of Ashville, NC; grandson, Jeffery (Misty) James; granddaughter, Marissa Hutcheson, both of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Rachel Bartley, Megan Bartley and Jessica McAllister; great granddaughters, Jocelyn James of Chattanooga, TN, Kloye Bruce and Kyra McAllister, both of Rossville, GA; other relatives and dear friends.

Bettye was loved by everyone, she has many grandkids and great grandkids whom she loved and cared about; and they loved her dearly. Bettye always helped everyone.

A Visitation for Bettye will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Franklin-Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN, 37404.

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 2:00 pm at same location with Donnie McMillian officiating.
