Celeste M Caroland

Celeste Marcia Caroland passed away on May 25, 2021. She was an active member of Burning Bush Baptist Church in Ringgold, Ga. She spent her career as a Pre-kindergarten Teacher and “loved teaching the kids”. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Celeste was preceded in death by her parents, Rupert and Izola Lyon; three brothers, Timothy Lyon, Jesse Lyon and Terry Lyon; a sister, Bonita “Bonnie” Simmons; a sister-in-law, Margaret Lyon; and a son, Adam Phillip Caroland.

Celeste is survived by Dennis Caroland, her husband of 35 years; a son Tyler Caroland; daughter, Kristy Caroland; grandsons, Colin and Parker Caroland; she is also survived by brothers, Rupert Lyon, Emile Lyon, and Mark Lyon, and by sisters, Sonya Pierotti, Germaine Ackley and Yvonne Albee; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Burning Bush Baptist Church 2195 Burning Bush Rd. Ringgold, GA 30736 from 11:00am-1:00pm on Saturday June 5th.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Dennis McNulty and Reverend Eddie Bolin officiating.

Interment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
