My condolences to the family!  I had the pleasure of working with Deidre at Ryla Teleservices.  She had such a kind heart and a wonderful spirit.  She will truly be missed!

I am blessed to have known Deidre since we were 8 years old. We lost touch after college, and within the last year or so  got back in touch to discover we lived within 5 miles of each other. I was SO excited to see her again. It was a joyous reunion that my entire family celebrated. 
I just recently heard this bad news, and I am deeply saddened.
I will miss you my dear, sweet friend. My love and condolences to Michael, Jenny, Matthew, Mr. & Mrs. Sisson, your brothers and sisters, and your many friends and co-workers.

I had the pleasure of working close to Deidra during peak this year at CHA2.  What a guiding light and inspiration! She always came in to work with that beautiful smile and terrific attitude. She continually encouraged me to push for my goals and continually told me that she knew if she wanting something done, she could come to me. When she left Learning and went back to IB, I made sure I saw her on the Wed we worked the same shift. Hugged her and told her how happy I was to see her. She was a great person and my heart is broken for her family. I can empathize with your loss and how empty it feels to know she is not here. May God open his arms and take her in to rest and know she is at peace.  This world will not be the same without her.

Deidre was the best manager we ever had at CHA2. She was always so encouraging and truly cared for us. I pushed myself to excel because she created an environment that allowed us to thrive and use our strengths and abilities. She was as classy as they come. I graduated with Deidre from Sheffield.  She was loved and respected by all her classmates. She was the most honest, good and decent person I had the honor of knowing in high school.  Her smile could light up a room and her intelligence was the envy of all.  It was a privilege to know her and call her a friend.

There are no words to adequately describe the grief and shock at Deidre's passing. A bunch of us West   Point women and other female officers thoroughly enjoyed the love, hope, and shining light of Deidre when we were stationed at Ft. Bragg. Her laugh was infectious! We had many a fun moment and I will take that with me. Deidre...I miss you and will always remember you...where ever you go, I will go. Rest peacefully in the loving arms of Jesus. Honored to know Deidre as a business associate, and friend, at both D&B and Ryla.  She was a good friend to me, and my family.  And a great example of how to conduct oneself professionally, and perform at a high level.  I always admired how she was able to handle adversity with such grace and aplomb. When Deidre was a teenager,her parents,Jan and Graham Sisson were loving neighbors to my mom and dad. Deidre was in high school and we did some fun things together(movies,shopping).Even then,Deidre had a wonderful southern charm.Yet,she was a "Modern Southern Lady"..very intellectually challenged and wanting very much to become part of a bigger world AND make it a better place.

I just found out today. I am so sorry for this great loss! Deidre was so special. I had the privilege of meeting her at Amazon in Campbellsville, KY. She was #1 in my book!!! She never acted superior to us and wanted so much to learn! Always, always had a smile on her face! I will so sadly miss her!

My condolences to the entire family, I had the pleasure of working with Deidre. She was well respected, She will be missed.

I'm deeply saddened by the loss of Deidre.  She was first a co-worker when I started working for BellSouth in 2001, and we became friends quickly.  We shared many conversations about our careers, relationships, goals and faith.  I remember holding Jenny in the hospital and knowing Deidre would be a wonderful mother.  And she was.  Deidre was also a great pillar for me during the birth of my first child, not only offering encouragement during the pregnancy but also visiting me in the hospital offering support and many helpful tips.  I truly enjoyed each moment I was able to spend with her, and now offer up my prayers to Michael, Jenny, Matthew, and all her family and friends.

I am deeply saddened by the passing away of your wife and mother.  She was such an amazing woman, in all aspects: compassionate, selfless, genuine, intelligent and so full of life and energy, and of course,  I could go on and on… Although her passing away has left a definite void in my heart, I am truly thankful to have such fond memories of Deidre throughout the years I've known her, both professionally and personally. In the workplace, Deidre was a very disciplined, organized and committed individual who  required much and gave much,  always making sure her people realized and maximized their potential. As  we were both avid runners, when we worked in Atlanta, we would begin our 7 mile daily run along Peachtree Street each weekday morning at 5:30ish. During our runs, we shared in countless conversations, about family (especially the kids), religion, work, and life in general. There were no limitations or boundaries as to what we would talk about. We laughed, had fun, and we even called ourselves the “Studettes” because we were out beating the pavement each morning in the humidity,  the cold, the rain, running in the water puddles just so we could splash water on each other- we had so much fun. She would even make sure the ducks got back to the lake area, as they had wandered out into the roadway on some of our mornings runs. These are just a few of the many memories I will cherish for a lifetime. Deidre touched my life and so many others in such a special and positive way.
To the Sisson and Etheridge families, I extend my sincere condolences.

My whole heart goes out to Deidra's entire family at this time. Matthew and my son Kaden are in the same second grade class. Kaden cried last night for so long because his little friend lost his mommy. He said his heart hurts for Matthew and Jennifer. "Now he doesn't have his mommy" he said. I explained that she will always be in his heart and that Jesus will take care of him, his mommy, his daddy, his sister and his whole family. I had the pleasure of working with Diedra at the SDF1 facility and she was the nicest lady so smart and friendly!! I loved working with her she always took the time to listen to concerns and tried to fix and find solutions she was a huge influence on me to do better and do it always with a smile!! I hated it when she left us but she always held a special place in my heart... I had the pleasure of meeting her beautiful children at the company picnic and they are in my thoughts and prayers as is her husband and family and friends.. God bless she will be truly missed...
