Dorris Lee Bray

He was the son of the late Freely and Idell Bray and was preceded by his wife, Janice Maureen Wilburn Bray.

Dorris was a veteran of the U S Navy and retired from Sears Auto Center in Hixson.

He was an avid golfer, fisherman, gardener and UT Vols football fan. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.

He attended Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Dicky Lane (Angela) Bray, of Ooltewah, TN, daughter and son-in-law, Cindy (Steve) Jones, of Alpharetta, GA, four grandchildren, Brandon Lee Bray, Whitney McClain Bray, Jared Scott Gilbert, Lauren Drew Gilbert, great grandson, Michael Lane Bray, sister and brother-in-law, Ann (Randall) Dozier, of Dickson, TN, and his nephew, Tim Dozier.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Holder officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, Tennessee,

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
