George was preceded in death by his parents, George Mathis, II and Vivian Davis; and sister, Teresa Higgins.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his precious memories are his beloved sons, Brandon Mathis of Rossville, GA and Jonah Mathis of Dalton GA; brother, Terry Mathis of Rossville; devoted mother of his sons, Shelly Williams of Dalton; several nieces; nephews; other relatives and dear friends.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm in the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 1:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
