It's been a whole year, Greg, and you are so missed. Ernest talks about you daily and still remembers your last conversation.  It's still hard to believe you are no longer here.  I  hope peace has found you.  Forever in our hearts and mind.

Greg was like another Son to me. In and out the house up and down the street. From Ivy to deep East Chattanooga.  Always respectful with a smile that lit up a room. No matter where he saw me it was Mama Cynthia I love you. ❤️  Prayers are up for the family.  Ernest, Greg, Fella, Carl, James, Willie, Pokey, Rabbit, Pride. And a few more would drift in and out the house but they grow up so fast and boys turn into men. This was the crew.  One less bell to answer. Your Brother, Uncle, Grandson, cousin and friend will be missed!

You will be missed very much. I'm still in shock. You were my brother and we became very good friends real quick. Got to spend a week when you came and stayed for Thanksgiving with us. Damn man. Lost a good one

Bro. I just heard. Damn I just talked to you that Saturday. We were going to go on a road trip Feb 13th. I wish I would of heard earlier I would of came to visitation. I will forever hold the 4 days of Thanksgiving 2021 you spent we me and the family. You will always be missed and in my memories. Gone way too soon.

My condolences an prayers to the Toney Family Greg you are truly missed 😢😢😢

There are no words that can convey the sincerity being sent to the family of Gregory Toney. I knew Greg simply by the name “Toney”. He was always upbeat and encouraging. He was extremely respectful of his elders and wasn’t the type of individual to condone disrespect of any kind. I know that Toney was making more of an effort to engage with his son, Chandler, which will remain my fondest memory of Toney; his being a supportive and responsible father to his son was the best quality reflective of Toney’s heart. May the family find comfort and strength in knowing that Toney now rests having been an exemplary father to his child, Chandler Tate. May he rest in peace. - Stuart
