Born in Chicago, to James H. Peters and Edna G. Dodson. Jimmy moved south in 1998.
He is survived by his mother Edna G. Dodson of Chattanooga; a brother and sister- in- law, Joseph M. Peters and Julie Schreiber of Marietta, Georgia; partner Gregory A. Tate of Chattanooga.
Jimmy was a very talented florist working in a number of shops in Chattanooga before finding greater success as a freelance Florist.
There will not be a memorial service, but A Celebration of his Life will be announced at a later date.
