Jeffery Lamar Adamson Jr.

Jeffery Lamar Adamson, Jr., 15 , of Ooltewah, Tn., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 13th, 2017. He was a freshman at Ooltewah High School where he played on the football team. For many years, Jeffery participated in football, basketball and baseball with Ooltewah Youth Association. He also enjoyed wrestling, swimming, archery and spending special time with family and friends. Jeffery had an infectious smile and an adventurous spirit. He attended Mt. Summit of Peace Church.

Jeffery, Jr. was preceded in death by his grandfather, James McKinney, great-grandmother Hattie Mae Massengill and first cousin Bobby Cantrell.

Father, Jeffery (Stephenie) Adamson, Sr.; Mother, Trina Lynn McKinney: Grandparents: Bobby Joe Adamson, Sr. & Floria Mae Adamson, Ruth McKinney; great grandparents Lebron (Sandra) Massengill; sister, Gabrielle “Abie” Adamson; brothers, Stephen Azbill, Bobby Joe Adamson III. and Jacob Adamson; uncles, Jimmy (Anna) McKinney, Eddie McKinney, Charles (Donielle) Adamson; aunts Dora (Charlie) Cantrell and Brenda (H. Delano “Del”, Jr) Cothran; cousins, Joshua, Lydia and Jared Cothran, Lauren Adamson, Brittany Colson, Seth Broadous, Amber McKinney, Charlie, Jr., Tommy and Jake Cantrell. A host of other relatives and friends.

A “Celebration of Life” service will be held on Sunday, February 19th at 4:00 pm at Redemption Point Church in Ooltewah with Pastor Kevin Wallace as the eulogist. Prior to the service the family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm. A balloon release will follow immediately after the service.
