Jody and her family are from Baytown, TX and a Memorial Service is planned in her honor in her hometown at a future date.
Jody worked tirelessly for others and recently felt some pain that led to the discovery of endometrial cancer. Upon surgery, bowel and lymphatic cancer were also found. The type of cancer was very aggressive and it overtook her body in just a few weeks post surgery.
In the end despite fighting surgical infection and multiple forms of cancer, Jody was able to see and hear from people all over the world. They were all equally crushed by her diagnosis, but all equally expressed their love for her and the work she did in God's kingdom.
